In the pages of history, we all have read and learned about India and its culture.
And the world well aware of Harappa Mohan jo Daro and Indus valley.
India has many vendors and shopkeepers. Talking about vegetable vendors; their behavior is different in different states. In many states, especially cities, the vendors will sell vegetables at high prices, and in the evenings since many won’t buy, throw the same on the roads. (I have a lot of pictures proving the above facts).
The Cobblers and Mochi’s
There are many; working hard in the sun for their empty stomach.
Sometimes the females too contribute to their families.
The Paan Shop.
There are uncountable paan shops; from the villages to the towns, where you can get numerous things apart from Paan. Especially the information which Google could not provide. (That’s what social media says.)
Secunderabad Railway Station
The huge market area for all social classes. The fruit sellers, the female flower sellers, Plastic and metal jewelry, the number of hotels providing all varieties of food, the samosawalas selling one rupee samosas and many other items.
The number of jewelry stores and steel merchants; the silk saree shops. What not…?
The Forts, The Jain Temples, the architecture of Jain temples is so vast that I couldn’t capture in thousands of photos.
The Jalore Fort
The old, broken on the heights of the hill. I’ve enjoyed it a lot. The palace was so confusing that I couldn’t understand about the rooms and the passages.
Need not to mention about the Amer Fort of JAIPUR where thousands of tourist visitors per day is very common.
It’s mentioned on Google that the fort has the second longest wall after the great wall of china. And I’m fortunate to visit that fort, which is nearby to Udaipur ‘the city of lakes’. I loved the fort in the middle of the valleys and hills built by Maharaja Prithviraj. One amongst the undefeated forts.
Ranakpur Jain Temple
One of the best Jain architectures to mention and write about was my trip to Ranakpur, on the way to Kumbhalgarh fort. The three to four feet tall beautiful female sculptures with beautiful faces. And the Jain sculptures of Mahaveer on huge marble carved stones, shining white and bright were extraordinarily loving and worth mentioning and visiting again and again.
Women With Chastity and Pride.
A country of many different cultures, traditions, religions (in A.D), and Vedas is and will be known for the women here who are respected and are equal to Goddess can nowhere else be found.
(Perhaps the things are different now, according to time and few people), but the country is rich in woman knowing loyalty towards their husbands.
Many years ago, I’ve read a story ‘The curd seller’, where the wife; on being asked about her husband’s whereabouts said “wherever he might go during the daylight he’d return to my bed at night and I’m happy for that”.
Oliver Goldsmith Said
Men lose everything in charity and women lose everything including their chastity; for words.
He’s not from India.
The Silk Route
The major trading center among the silk route was India.
The only nation where spices grow in Kerala which is in India.
A Socialist, secular and democratic country.
Speaking More About India. Few Drawbacks
The number of Mountain ranges. The Universities of Nalanda, Takshshila and Avanti. What not, the pilgrims and the tourists visited India for their education. Many disciples and devotees. Language, literature, and culture.
But yes, MANY ENGLISH SCHOLARS FROM ALL ENGLISH SPEAKING COUNTRIES ARE INTO LEARNING AND TRANSLATING VEDAS.
Vedas and Puranas, the whole world is following and learning. The cure for all the cancers from Indian scripts.
Among all these are artists like me who keep trying through the available channels and platforms such as GOOGLE YOUTUBE AND AMAZON.
Websites and Blogs like MONOMOUSUMI.com have published two of my articles on their blog and many other drawing and illustrations websites have posted my sketches. The website of YOU QUOTE has helped me publish my mind as well.
The viewing has a greater part of my photography and poetry. Com has poetry.
With the help of the SOCIAL MEDIA, I can see many Indians showcasing their talents. I’m very happy and glad for this.
I traveled in the train across the country. I have seen that the passengers in the ‘Reserved Compartments’ do not have Reservations. The compartments are occupied and there is no particular difference between the people who have tickets and who does not. It was for a certain period that the RPF, used to be in the trains, but now, the bogies do not have any protection.
The Railway food is worst than usual for more than a decade. And the satisfactory food is costly; much more than that of a water bottle. The men and women who sell their own products, like guavas, cucumber, the bhel puri, are more efficient and effective in selling their products because of health factors, cost and taste than the ‘Railway Staff’.
Among all these are those who enter in GENERAL BOGIES and forcefully occupy seats. Those who allow them to stand themselves and remaining wouldn’t be in a position to relax neither their buttocks nor their limbs.
Moving towards the Per capita income or individual earnings, everyone is aware of the Metro cities, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, Bhopal, Lucknow, and other ‘big cities’ of India. At the same time, the industries, organizations, firms, companies, malls, shops, and stalls of those cities which earn and provide livelihood to masses. IF this was not India, in 1999 and 2000 then what I can call this is obvious growth.
The schools and institutions
Are commercialized nowadays which is resulting in pathetic teaching methodologies.
Kids are going in the wrong direction. No common sense, no civic sense, no humor.
Being a responsible citizen of the country, I should acknowledge the positive changes which have occurred in the country and; I am doing it.
Moving ahead, what I can see is, the vast lands, fields, which are being yielded, and the plains, which are empty, vacant, filled with trees, and none to cultivate… there are many resources available than what we can imagine, but using them is again our responsibility. LAND is the best resource, but how much is being used. WATER, which we get in rainy season and let the TMC’s of it go to the Oceans? Being educated, what all we are able to do is NOTHING.
I’m on WHISPER APP from December 2016.
I see many men posting inappropriate comments on girls and multiple relationships and similar are women.
LGBTQ Relationships etc.
But, the Indians… They never mention polygamy or polyamorous relationships.
From the USA, many talk about cheating and they sleep with hundreds but most Indians are like RAM AND SITA.
Indian Street Food
I have no words to mention about
MY FAVORITE TOMATO BAJJI
Almost all the Religions of the world, except Hinduism has flourished here. All the states of India have their own list of religious and traditional festivals and are celebrated in the best possible manner.
For the Businesses, shops, Amazon, Flipkart and all other commercial sites and stores; in India, it is like
JANUARY TILL DECEMBER
BACK TO BACK
IT’S FESTIVE SEASON… THROUGHOUT.
What about fairs? – for each and every festival there are fairs and apart from festivals there are trade fairs, business expo and other fairs everywhere.
The roads glitter in summers and seem like desserts across the country in 45-degree centigrade. In floods, almost all the cities swim. And it is not necessary that floods should come in the rainy season, in each state floods come whenever they wish because of Indian geography and the presence of two seas, one ocean, and Himalayas.
And the number of videos about Indian history and mythology are innumurous on Google YouTube.
Even, as an individual, I’m available on Google YouTube and Amazon. Type PVP Sri Harsha on Google YouTube.
and the masterpieces they have produced.
RAILWAYS AND ROADWAYS
Though there are few loopholes and drawbacks the Indian RAILWAYS is the cheapest and ROADWAYS is convenient.
17 December 2019
I met a rickshaw puller
He said, in 1977 he purchased
3 kata for 200 rupees
Now one kata is of 10 lakes
All by pulling rickshaws
He has two sons and a daughter
One Engineer, a BSc graduate and intermediate respectively
I enjoyed the talk
He only works at night because
In day times he can’t compete with traffic and motor
And I was very happy
I asked him to stop at snacks shop and yes
I purchased snacks for him.
